We had a great crowd on Wednesday night–both in numbers and in spirit! So, it is not too surprising that my ghostly friend from the capitol decided to make his presence known. Although not much was caught on my camera (others claimed otherwise) he did decide to play with the batteries inside it. The same batteries that had lasted the night before didn’t last but half way through the tour–and I recharged them between tours! Then, the new batteries I put in the camera kept going from full to empty and back to full. However, my photographer (whom I forgot to get the name of) did manage to get a great picture of an orb at the Rainbow Room. Check it out on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/36517945@N06/3372591149/
Also, after the tour one of the guests reported seeing a figure standing in the second floor of the Ryman. At first, he thought it might be a member of the cleaning crew. He thought that was weird since all the lights were off on both the second and first floors. However, as far as I know, the cleaning crew at the Ryman does not work at night. It was not the security guard because he was clearly seen both at the start and end of the tour in the lobby. I wonder if the construction on the roof have disturbed the man in gray? Or perhaps it’s Tom Ryman himself checking on his beloved building.
Still, it made a very interesting night!
Best,
Darcy
